Chapter 15

I this chapter we leaned how Europe was continuing to spread as the same with christianity. We also learned how there was a new way of thinking starting to process known as the scientific revolution.

Things started to get heated between the roman catholic church an Martin Luther in this time. While they were beefin, Martin Luther exposed the Roman Catholic Church of being corrupt. So when everybody heard that the Roman Catholic Church was corrupt they were hella mad! Their anger towards the Roman Catholic Church led hella people to protestantism. Protestantism shot off and shot off quick! It started becoming so big and adapted to that they started breaking off protestant churches all over Europe. The roman catholic church wasn't feeling to hot about this, so this dilemma started was is known as the thirty years war. This "war" led to the reorganization of territories. So after this the roman chaotic church started building itself up again, So they (the roman catholic church) ad protestants started to send out missionaries to other places in the world. While reading this chapter, I stumbled on something pretty wild that I wasn't aware of, which was when the spaniards conquered the Aztecs they made them convert to christianity, they destroy their old relics that were monumental to their previous religion because they wanted them to solely be a part of christianity.

As the world continued to progress so did the way people thought. Around 1543 the scientific revolution started which was basically people trying to think harder and beyond hat they were learning religiously. With this new revolution started came a lot of new ideas that are still relevant and important to us today. For example, we had Copernicus who came up with the theory that everything revolved around the sun, Galileo and Kepler an the theory of gravity, and my favorite out of all of them Sigmund Freud and the science of the mind and behavior.
